Department of Environmental Inventory and Information Management

Duties

1) To carry out, contract a third party to carry out and coordinate data exchange studies about the environment with national and international public and private organizations.

2) To establish or contract a third party to establish out environmental information systems (software) as well as coordinating the same, to improve these systems when necessary and to increase their quality and effectiveness.

3) To coordinate the regulation and management of the website of our General Directorate.

4) To structure and manage the European Environmental Information Observation Network at national level.

5) To carry out the works of the European Environment Agency (EEA), as well as coordinating the fulfillment of EEA reporting requirements, meetings, workshops, seminars, etc. at national and international level, and also participating in studies, ensuring the participation of relevant institutions and organizations.

6) To coordinate the international business and transactions of our General Directorate,

7) To work with national and international public and private organizations on issues related to sharing environmental information and access to environmental information, to ensure the follow-up and coordination of international conventions and protocols on these issues.

8) In cooperation with the relevant institutions and organizations, the Environmental Status Reports, to determine the format and preparation periods at the country and provincial level, to prepare the same / have it prepared, to evaluate and report, to publish / publish and to cooperate with national and international institutions and organizations when necessary.

9) To carry out the preparing, publishing / issuing of reports from available data and information about the environment.

11) To carry out or contract a third party to carry out Carrying reporting of environmental problems prioritization studies at national and provincial level.

12) To fulfill similar duties assigned by the General Manager.
