Duties

1) Regarding Waste and Chemical Facilities projects, Agriculture and Food Facilities projects, Industrial Investments projects and Petroleum and Mining projects;

a) To evaluate the projects within the scope of the EIA Regulation, to present opinion(s) on the implementation of the EIA Regulation,

b) To carry out on-site inspection of projects,

c) To attend n public participation meetings,

ç) To carry out examining and evaluating of EIA reports,

d) To monitor and evaluate national and international studies related to their duties,

e) To carry out training activities in the subjects that fall within its field of duty,

f) To participate in monitoring and control activities.

2) To fulfill similar duties assigned by the General Manager.
