Duties

There are 8 Regional Clean Air Center Directorates that were resolved to be established under the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, pursuant to the Cabinet Decree No. 2015/7754 published in the Official Gazette dated 10.07.2015 and numbered 29412.

1-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Aegean Region

(İzmir being the center – covers the following provinces: Aydın, Denizli, Manisa, Muğla, Uşak.)

2-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Northern Central Anatolia

(Ankara being the center – covers the following provinces: Bartın, Bolu, Çankırı, Düzce, Eskişehir, Karabük, Kastamonu, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Kütahya, Yozgat, Zonguldak.)

3-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Southern Central Anatolia

(Konya being the center – covers the following provinces: Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Antalya, Burdur, Isparta, Karaman, Kayseri, Nevşehir, Niğde.)

4-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Central Black Sea

(Samsun being the center – covers the following provinces: Amasya, Çorum, Giresun, Ordu, Sinop, Sivas, Tokat.)

5-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Eastern Anatolia

(Erzurum being the center – covers the following provinces: Ağrı, Ardahan, Artvin, Bayburt, Erzincan, Gümüşhane, Iğdır, Kars, Rize, Trabzon.)

6- Central Directorate of Clean Air for Southeastern Anatolia

(Diyarbakır being the center – covers the following provinces: Adıyaman, Batman, Bingöl, Bitlis, Elazığ, Hakkari, Malatya, Mardin, Muş, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Tunceli, Van)

7- Central Directorate of Clean Air for Mediterranean Region

(Adana being the center – covers the following provinces: Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Mersin, Osmaniye)

8-  Central Directorate of Clean Air for Marmara Region

(İstanbul being the center – covers the following provinces: Balıkesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Çanakkale, Edirne, İstanbul, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, Yalova )
